Clinical Case Conference
The Clinical Case Conference in Sleep Medicine is a monthly opportunity to discuss clinical issues and specific sleep medicine cases with a diverse group of clinicians and sleep researchers. The meetings are informal in tone but with a focus on education. The format consists of two clinicians from the community who each take primary responsibility for presenting a specific case or providing information about general clinical issues confronted by the sleep clinician (e.g., treating refractory cases of obstructive sleep apnea). An attempt is made to balance between cases with a principally medical focus and those with a principally behavioral focus. A core group of about 10-15 clinicians, sleep scientists, and students participate in the conferences. Clinical Case Conferences are generally held on the second Thursday of every month beginning at 8:00 am . Location Rhode Island Hospital, APC building, Room 702 back to top |
